Dr. Halil Mutlu was born in Guneysu, Rize in 1971. He completed elementary and middle school in Kasimpasa and high school at Kabatas Erkek Lisesi. He joined Medical School at Selcuk University Medical School in Konya. After graduation, he served his mandatory duty and joined Emergency Medicine. During his academic visit to the United States, he passed the United States Medical Licensing Examinations and became qualified to practice medicine in the USA. He joined University of Massachusetts Medical School affiliated Berkshire Medical Center, and specialized in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Mutlu has been working as physician and teaching attending in Internal Medicine and Hospital Medicine. Since the beginning of 2010, Dr. Mutlu joined Tufts University School of Medicine affiliated teaching hospital, Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Mutlu is married with one child.
