Dr. Sukru Elekdag

Sukru Elekdag is a distinguished Turkish diplomat, academic, and writer who has served in multiple high-level governmental and diplomatic roles over his career. Born in 1924, he studied Political Science and International Relations at prestigious institutions, later embarking on a long diplomatic career that positioned him as one of the leading figures in Turkish foreign affairs. He served as Türkiye’s Ambassador to the United States during a critical period, strengthening bilateral ties and representing Türkiye on the global stage.
